The World is in the Game / 2015

"The World is in the Game" is a series of video performances where the artist enacts movements inspired by games, yet devoid of their context. The viewer observes the performer repeating gestures imposed by the mechanics of an "invisible" game, emphasizing the tension between the body and the system. Within the exhibition space, a mirror installation accompanies the works, where viewers see themselves reflected along with the phrase "The World is in the Game," suggesting that we all play our part in the rules of the contemporary world.
